Metal Rod Length

There's a proverb that states "Bluebirds are a sign of spring; warm weather and gentle south breezes they bring".

Placing a Bluebird in your garden invites something good to come into your life and shows that you seek joy and happiness.

Stick our large Bluebird into larger planters, landscaping areas, and floral arrangements for an instant pop of brightness and joy!

Each bird is completely unique and made by hand out of love, creativity, and UV Resistant Epoxy Resin with added UV inhibitors to protect from UV exposure for years of outdoor enjoyment!

The Large Bluebird (not including the height of the metal stake) measures 2.5" H x 5.25" W x 0.4"D. As each bird is custom made and a unique piece of handcrafted art, there can be slight variation in dimensions, weight, and color/pattern.

Colors featured in this creation stay true to the Bluebird we know and love to include brilliant blues and oranges. Each Large Bluebird includes your choice of a 6" or 12" metal stake.

Not sure which to choose?

  • The 12" stake is perfect for placing your bird in larger planters, deeper pots, or tall vases - where it needs to be taller.
  • The 6" height is better for flower boxes, to be pinned in wreaths, or smaller, more shallow vases.
Shipping & delivery

Free US shipping on orders of $50 and up, or $5 standard shipping. Every bird is packed by hand in Boone, NC and usually leaves the studio within two business days. Local pickup is available at checkout.
Built for the outdoors

They look like glass. They're resin. Each bird is hand-poured in UV-resistant epoxy resin, so leave it outside, drop it, it won't break. It holds its color in full sun and shrugs off rain, frost and snow. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Because every pour is done by hand, no two birds are exactly alike.

I purchased a bluebird for my mother for Christmas - it's the perfect blue and really livens up her porch. She adores it!

I've purchased two birds (Blue Heron and Bluebird) from Garden Girl, both as birthday gifts. They are gorgeous! Now I need a couple for myself! Ordering and shipping were both fast and easy.

Saving this one as a gift as well.... unless it flies into the pot on my front porch
