Hummingbirds, in their seemingly carefree and happy flight, remind us to live in the moment and enjoy life's simple pleasures.Because they often seem to appear out of nowhere, placing a Hummingbird in your garden reminds us that joy is unpredictable and can often be just around the corner.Stick our large Hummingbird into larger planters, landscaping areas, and floral arrangements for an instant pop of brightness and joy! Each bird is completely unique and made by hand out of love, creativity, and UV Resistant Epoxy Resin with added UV inhibitors to protect from UV exposure for years of outdoor enjoyment! The Large Hummingbird (not including the height of the 12” metal stake) measures 4.25" H x 6" W x 0.4"D. As each bird is custom made and a unique piece of handcrafted art, there can be slight variation in dimensions, weight, and color/pattern. Colors featured in this creation stay true to the Hummingbird we know and love to include vibrant greens and pinks. Each Large Hummingbird includes a 12" metal stake. We don't offer the 6" stake option due to the length of the hummingbird's tail. |
Shipping & delivery
Free US shipping on orders of $50 and up, or $5 standard shipping. Every bird is packed by hand in Boone, NC and usually leaves the studio within two business days. Local pickup is available at checkout.
Built for the outdoors
They look like glass. They're resin. Each bird is hand-poured in UV-resistant epoxy resin, so leave it outside, drop it, it won't break. It holds its color in full sun and shrugs off rain, frost and snow. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Because every pour is done by hand, no two birds are exactly alike.
I ordered a large hummingbird for my wife for Mother's Day, and wow was she surprised and impressed! We already had a small chickadee she bought from Garden Girl a while back and it is so cute! Her large hummingbird is impressive, the overall shape, the colors, the patterns in the colors all coalesce into a delightful piece of art. The shipping was great, and the box was sturdy and packed with care. It's safe to say there will be future Garden Girl art acquisitions.
This literally made me teary eyed - thank you so much for your kind words and I am SO happy that you enjoy my work. Thank you thank you thank you :) - Zoe
