Metal Rod Length

By observing the action at your bird feeder, you know that Chickadees are social and fearless!

Placing a Chickadee in your garden shows that you're positive, cheerful, and flexible by nature and seek good company, laughter, and joy.

Stick our large Chickadees into larger planters, landscaping areas, and floral arrangements for an instant pop of brightness and joy!

Each bird is completely unique and made by hand out of love, creativity, and UV Resistant Epoxy Resin with added UV inhibitors to protect from UV exposure for years of outdoor enjoyment!

The Large Chickadee (not including the height of the metal stake) measures 2.5" H x 5.25" W x 0.4"D. As each bird is custom made and a unique piece of handcrafted art, there can be slight variation in dimensions, weight, and color/pattern.

Colors featured in this creation stay true to the chickadee we know and love to include snow white, gold/tan, and black.
Each Large Chickadee includes your choice of a 6" or 12" metal stake.

Not sure which to choose?

  • The 12" stake is perfect for placing your bird in larger planters, deeper pots, or tall vases - where it needs to be taller.
  • The 6" height is better for flower boxes, to be pinned in wreaths, or smaller, more shallow vases.
Shipping & delivery

Free US shipping on orders of $50 and up, or $5 standard shipping. Every bird is packed by hand in Boone, NC and usually leaves the studio within two business days. Local pickup is available at checkout.
Built for the outdoors

They look like glass. They're resin. Each bird is hand-poured in UV-resistant epoxy resin, so leave it outside, drop it, it won't break. It holds its color in full sun and shrugs off rain, frost and snow. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Because every pour is done by hand, no two birds are exactly alike.

This bird is a gorgeous work of art and my mom was so happy with it. I loved it so much I ordered one for myself! Love to be able to support NC artists!

I sent these two birds to a very special friend and she was absolutely delighted. The birds are now happily roosting in wintry Wisconsin.
Thank you!!!

This makes my heart so happy to hear - so glad they've found such a wonderful place to rest and be loved :)
