Metal Rod Length

Blue Herons bring messages of self-determination and self-reliance. They represent an ability to progress and evolve, encouraging you to find unconventional ways to be self-reliant and productive.

Place our Small Blue Herons in smaller pots, floral arrangements, and tighter spots for an instant pop of brightness and joy!

Each bird is completely unique and made by hand out of love, creativity, and UV Resistant Epoxy Resin with added UV inhibitors to protect from UV exposure for years of outdoor enjoyment!

The Small Blue Heron (not including the height of the metal stake) measures 4.5" H x 3.5" W x 0.3"D. As each bird is custom made and a unique piece of handcrafted art, there can be slight variation in dimensions, weight, and color/pattern.

Colors featured in this creation stay true to the blue heron we know and love to include various blues, tans, and white along with their signature orange beak.
Each Small Blue Heron includes your choice of a 6" or 12" metal stake.

Not sure which to choose?

  • The 12" stake is perfect for placing your bird in larger planters, deeper pots, or tall vases - where it needs to be taller.
  • The 6" height is better for flower boxes, to be pinned in wreaths, or smaller, more shallow vases.
Shipping & delivery

Free US shipping on orders of $50 and up, or $5 standard shipping. Every bird is packed by hand in Boone, NC and usually leaves the studio within two business days. Local pickup is available at checkout.
Built for the outdoors

They look like glass. They're resin. Each bird is hand-poured in UV-resistant epoxy resin, so leave it outside, drop it, it won't break. It holds its color in full sun and shrugs off rain, frost and snow. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Because every pour is done by hand, no two birds are exactly alike.
